Jiffy Steamer J-2000M Garment Steamer
The standard Model J-2000M Residential garment steamer is recommended for home or light commercial usage with 1300 watts of steaming power. The J-2000M is equipped with a clear, plastic 3/4 gallon water reservoir with a no-drip check valve system, a 5 ½ foot flexible hose and easy roll casters for mobility. The hose attachment has a metal steam head with a wood handle at the end of the hose. This type of hose attachment is more durable, but does get hot around the metal and tends to be heavier than the plastic steam head and handle combination. The J-2000M is equipped with an on/off switch and heats up in 1 minute.

Every steamer operates on our assembly line for several minutes to ensure that the unit runs properly. You may notice traces of water in the bottom of your new steamer. Jiffy J-2000M Steamer
Very impressed with the quality of the Jiffy Steamer J-2000M. This model has the metal head and an ergonomic wooden handle. The Steamer does an excellent job. Steam output is steady and long lasting. Very easy to operate and maintain.

Great steamer
Overall this is a great steamer. It puts out a lot of steam. What I've found useful when steaming is using an oven glove/pot holder. This way you can press the steamer head against the fabric with the steamer and you can place your other hand (with the glove on) behind the fabric pressing towards the steamer head. This eliminates the need for a wall board. Plus, the wrinkles come out of thicker fabrics this way (for example, jeans). You can also put the steamer head inside the clothes but be careful as you can get a steam burn if the opening is too narrow (for example, this way works well on shirts but I don't recommend it on pant legs). Once in a while the steamer head will drip some water out of the head but it doesn't happen often enough that I would rate it lower based on that. The only bad thing I can say about it (which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5), is that the pole that you hang the clothes on needs to be able to adjust taller. The instructions say to keep the hose vertical and not bunched up at the floor (as water can gather in the hose); however, when steaming pants you don't really have a choice as the pole isn't very tall.
