This is one of those things that is not a necessity, but will make you smile. It fit my Janome HD3000 just fine, and will probably fit any of the models with the opening for a second spool pin (vertical). You must leave the top lid open when using. Would be a sweet little gift for a Janome/Elna owner. I got the white/red and the pink/white when I was ordering some other parts. Both are very cute, and function is fine. However, it mounts on a small post and could get snapped off easily by an enthusiastic child.
