Believe it or not, when we lefties learn the correct way to use these scissors, they work great! It is an easy learning experience and you will never be "duped" into buying right-handed scissors with a left-handed grip ever again (hint: if your "left-handed" scissors open with the right blade going up they are NOT true left-handed scissors). They work well when you hold them a little higher and slightly angled to the right. Once you get the feel of them, you will love how they cut closer to seams. I went from wanting to return them to wanting more "true" left-handed scissors!
