Amazing dress shears!Amazing dress shears! Great deal too. The lady at the fabric store I go to said she’s had her pair for 30 years and that they’re still nice and sharp. Mine cut through fabric like butter. :-D

You could easily lose fingersThese are incredibly sharp and cut multiple layers with ease. I used them to trim an 1/8 inch edge off of a double layer veg tan hat brim - Perfect even cut all the way around. Took a class and had to cut medium veg tan for about two hours straight and my hand fared quite well!

Great review for a really good buyAlways a pleasure to give a product a good review, isn't it? Never used this brand of scissors before, and once I cut with them, really liked them. (Gingher 8-in knife edge dressmaker's shears). One of the comments about the scissors being too heavy almost prevented me from buying, but knew that if they weren't as decribed, Amazon would make good for a return. Yes, they are "heavy", but it's because they're solidly made, and really sharp, even to the tip. Will be looking at other products from this brand. Good sewing to all who are reading this review.!

Best Shears EverI am taking a sewing class where the instructor said, "if you want the Mercedes of scissors, buy Gingher"...she was so right. They are a little heavier than your average orange handled scissors but its only because they are solid steel. They are extremely sharp and comes with two cases. There is a tin case that you may leave them in OR you may use a smaller, plastic cover. Personally I like the small, plastic cover better as it fits in my bag better. Do not leave these uncovered - they will cut your fabric whether you are holding them or not :)

Just wowGot these for my wife and we are both impressed by the look and feel as they effortlessly glide through fabrics. Best shears ever and you feel almost like your holding a weapon, seriously awesome.

These scissors cut through the fleece with ease.
