  • Easy threading, with automatic needle threader - Simply follow the numbered threading diagram printed on the machine, then, with the auto needle threader, the thread is pushed right through the eye of the needle.
  • Reliable, Quick-set™ drop-in bobbin - Just drop in your bobbin, pull the thread through the slot, and start sewing!

I chose a rating of 5 because this is an easy machine to do embroidery. I have not had a single problem with it. Setting it up was easy and I started using it immediately after receiving it.

Perfect gift for a very talented wife

Perfect gift for a very talented wife. She has and is using it with success and is enjoying it very much. However she is unable to convert .jpeg and other file formats to the required .pes format without purchasing additional and expensive software.

An excellent starter machine for those on a budget

Posted by Jessica on 9th Aug 2018

After extensive research on embroidery machines this became my machine of choice, and I am very happy with my purchase. I knew I wanted an embroidery-only machine because I already had a very good sewing machine. It's easy to figure out, and within 30 minutes of taking it out of the box I was stitching away. The hardest thing about this embroidery machine is learning how to stabilize your material. A few things to be aware of before you purchase: -The needle area is small, which isn't a problem for me because I have small hands. Threading the needle isn't a problem because the automatic needle threader works well, but feeding the thread down through the foot could be difficult. -The touchscreen is not very detailed at all. With designs from a USB stick it can be hard to tell what's what, so have you computer handy to verify which design you're stitching. Also, sometimes the touchscreen doesn't respond immediately. Bottom line- If you are curious about machine embroidery and want a budget-priced machine that does it's job well in case you get hooked (like I did), I would highly recommend this. It lacks fancy features, but it does beautiful stitches and won't break your bankbook.

    Loved my Brother Embroidery Machine

Posted by royce downs on 9th Aug 2018

I loved it. I embroidered on it the day I got it! It was very similar to my old Decco that had bit the dust so there was not a lot of learning to do.
