I love my PE 770
This is my first embroidery machine. I was able to do some very fancy work with some downloaded designs using the usb drive. I am very happy I purchased this machine. I would recommend it to others. If you are deciding between a 4 x 4, or 5 x 7 frame machine, I would suggest this 5 x 7. You are allowed so many more designs with it, and as my daughters told me, Bigger is better when it comes to placing it on clothes. You just push a button and the machine practically runs on its own. Love, love, love it.

Perfect for the person new to embroidery
I've had a Brother SE-400 for a couple of years now. I was looking for a machine that would do 5x7. I've had the PE-770 for 3 months and it's been great. I would recommend it to anyone, especially the beginner. I would suggest a class or two to help get you started. And a can of air to keep the pesky threads out of the bobbin area. Also shop around for the best price.

Got this for 460.00 dollars:machine arrived in good condition: was preowned because the bobbins were threaded and bound up: machine works great except for the auto thread which I can't get to work. May need a small adjustment

Great machine
Machine arrived on time and works beautiful. Any problem have been user error, but all in all these is a very easy machine to use and the results are gorgeous.

I purchased this machine as an upgrade from the Brother SE400 with the 4x4 frame. I love having the larger embroidery area as well as the extra built in designs and fonts. My machine is used at least once a week and is still running like a dream. It is a bit bulky to travel with, but much easier than traveling with a multineedle!

Great value!!
The PE-770 is a great machine to work on. It is affordable and the stitch quality I great! The USB port has made it much easier to transfer designs from my PC to the machine. Max stitch area is 5 x 7, I would like a little larger area to work with but for the money you can't beat this machine.

One happy customer with my decision and Amazon!
This machine is awesome! Had to return the first one, had it less than a week but the thread kept breaking. The thread would not stay behind cross bar by the needle and then hook onto the automatic needle threader and than shred as the needle went up and down. I contacted Amazon and was sent a new one within one day. Why can't all businesses take lessons from Amazon on how to treat the customer. As for the machine, this machine for me, is great! The first machine, even though the thread kept breaking, I was able to get some very nice things accomplished. It was just soooooo frustrating but I learned a lot, like how to go back to the beginning of different colors or to different sections. Made lots of snowflakes and a couple of other items for Christmas presents. From taking it out of the box to doing your first item goes quite well. Found it to be idiot proof. The machine runs smoothly and precise. I know that I will get a lot of use out the this machine. One final thank you to Amazon for making me happy with my decision on this machine.
