Had some trouble at first, but once i figured the maching out...it has been so great. the work is wonderful and you can't get another like it at this price. Would def recommend as a starter machine...but now i want a bigger one :)

I love my BrotherPE-770
I recently purchased the BrotherPE-770 and am very pleased with the price and the performance of this machine. I used ir as soon as I took it out of the box. It was very easy to set-up and start using. I especially love the functionality of the usb port and now I can download designs directly from my laptop and right into my machine. This was the plus I was looking for. The machine itself is very smooth running and stitches out designs vey well.

Easy to use for beginners and high quality embroidery
I made blankets for my grand daughters for Christmas and put their names and "Grandma loves you" on them. The embroidery is very high quality. I used the big loop so I could make the letters big. I love this machine. It was easy to set up and easy to use.

Brother PE770 Embroidery Machine with memory stick
This machine is very user friendly. I have not had any trouble with the thread breaking. One of the problems that I have had with the machine is knowing where the embroidery will start on my project, maybe this comes with experience. One of the draw backs in purchasing a machine on line is that I don't have any free lessons to learn how to use it. The companies around here that sell these machines do not like answering my questions because I didn't buy the machine from them. I have found good resources on line that have answered a lot of my questions. Not having the picture of the embroidery show up in color has not been a problem as the thread color is there so you can go by that. I have found that I change the colors anyway to be what I want them to be or to go with what I am doing. Over all this is a very good machine to have for the home if you already have a sewing machine, which I had.

Upgraded from SE400 and very happy
Very good machine, although I had to send the first one back due to a burning "electrical" smell. Amazon, as always, is super fast with refunds and replacements.

After reading numerous reviews I finally bought this machine. I am very please so far. This machine is very impressive. My 16 yr old son was observing me using it and said "wow! That looks professional and your not even in the room when it is working!"
