    Brother PE770

Posted by Mary L. Mays on 28th Jun 2018

I stayed with the recommendations for thread and needles from the manufacturer and the machine works very well. No issues at this time. Nice designs in the machine. Will take some learning to comprehend how to determine the downloadable designs that will work on this machine. Brother no longer makes the memory cards but there are a few available on the internet. Not always sure on which design patterns are of the dimensions that will work on this machine but overall very happy and suits my purpose

It is the perfect machine for a beginner

Posted by ernestine on 28th Jun 2018

When I purchased this I had hoop envy. It is the perfect machine for a beginner. Average sized designs can be made on this little machine. It is indeed truelly a workhorse!

Perfect machine for a beginner if you want a bit larger hoop than the 4x4 entry level machine. This fits my needs. Love it! Easy to teach self with online video resources.

    Good machine

Posted by patace on 27th Jun 2018

This is a great machine for the price. I sent mine back and bought a Janome which cost several hundred dollars more. The needle threader broke and I was about out of time to send it back so I returned it and bought a Janome. The brothers had better features than the Janome with more software. After everything was said and done, considering the price difference, I wish I had stayed with the Brothers.

    Great Starter Machine

Posted by Erin on 27th Jun 2018

This is my first embroidery machine, and I spent months deciding on a machine prior to purchase. Though I was initially intimidated, I have since learned to love the PE770! It's nice to have a machine that supports multiple hoop sizes, and I am very glad that I went with a machine with a 5x7 field. I have since bought hoops in 3 more sizes, but I continue to use the 5x7 most frequently. The machine is user-friendly, and the Brother support line was helpful when I had to call with a question. It's also easy to find answers to questions that are not addressed in the user manual through a simple internet search. I am impressed with the quality of the stitching so far, and I have experimented with various brands of thread without problems from the machine. I will say that the initial machine I received seemed to be a "lemon," but Amazon promptly sent me a replacement and I have had NO problems with the new machine. I would recommend this machine for anyone new to machine embroidery.

    So Far So Good

Posted by MrsDVK on 27th Jun 2018

I purchased this back in October 2015 and have used it several times already. I have only done simple tasks on it, mostly three monogram projects and one-color embroidery designs up to this point, but it has worked well so far with no problems. Of course I am still learning how to use all the operations and will do more complicated designs in the near future, but it has given me no cause not to feel confident in its performance. I've attached a photo of some pocket squares that I embroidered.

So much better than using a magic box with their cards and outdated software (windows xp) So easy to use and learn. Drop .pes files on you flashdrive and plug it in the machine. So much easier than using the magic box I've used for years. Haven't had it long so how long it holds up will be something to see in time. So far so good.
