And Away We Goooo!!!
I knew I wanted a good embroidery machine that can handle big designs, and I wanted a brand that has a good reputation for just this thing and I wanted one that has good feedback and that is easy to use: up popped the Brother PE770! Just in the short amount of time that I have had it I have had so much fun creating things for my family from little girl purses to giant stockings for next Christmas and this one fills the bill. I do recommend purchasing some of the books that you can get out there that explains things about these machines that the guide book that comes with the machine just doesn't handle. I have learned allot from these books, have helped me with my new Brother.

I haven't had a lot of time on this but so far it is doing a great job. I did have one incident where the bobbin was coming through and showing on top and looked awful. I tried to research and troubleshoot but I've not yet decided what the issue was. I have to further research if it was the font I was using. That font is the only time I've had trouble. I loved, loved, loved the price I paid for this considering what retail price was for. For that alone, I am very happy with this product.

Great machine for a great price!
Great machine for the price! I bought this to expand my business as I am a boutique owner and sew children's clothing and adult clothing. This machine has enabled me to expand to embroidered items as well. Love the 5x7 field which is perfect for what I embroider and monogram. Thanks to Amazon customer service for replacing the first one I had trouble with less than 2 weeks after purchasing. They replaced it in less than 3 days after I called.

I absolutely adore this machine! I may never cook, lesson plan, or clean again.... Constantly locked into my sewing room since it has arrived. But seriously, it adds a whole new level of creativity and personalization to everything. Great for simple and inexpensive gifts for all the kids friends & our loved ones. Without any idea what I was getting into I was ip and creating within an hour or less.

I really can't say enough wonderful things about this machine
I really can't say enough wonderful things about this machine. This is my second one. Several years ago I worked with a friend of mine and she ordered one for me to keep at my house and she had the same machine at her house. These things are workhorses and very dependable. We had one issue with a brand new one (wouldn't thread itself), but Amazon replaced it immediately and I've never had an issue with another. The one I have currently sews flawlessly and for the price, cannot be beat!

I LOVE this machine and would buy another just like it
It has been a year since I purchased this machine. It is a work horse! I have not had any problem with thread. Some users said it was a picky thread eater. Not in my experience. I have absolutely no problems using metallic, Coats & Clark, everything runs smooth. My advice would be to read your manual and take your time. I LOVE this machine and would buy another just like it! Directions must be followed
The directions to this machine must be followed closely. I made the mistake of cutting top thread rather than having the machine cut the thread itself and caused the embroidery to look nothing like the picture. I knew that right away and redid the same picture and it was perfect. This is a new hobby and I am anxious to try more of the edgings.

I love this machine Glad we got the 5x7 hoop because most monograms that my daughter wanted were at least this size. Cannot do some bags and bigger size monograms but great starter machine for beginners easy to use, able to purchase designs off the internet in the recommended file format PES, download in computer and use program to modify, save to jump drive and then load right into machine
