Great reviews and easy to use.
Love this machine and got it at a lighting deal price. I use to work for a athletic company doing embroidery, and I miss embroidering things for my family & friends. I had been eyeing this model for 4 months because it had great reviews and offered the largest sewing surface at a decent price. It is pretty easy to operate (with the help of Utube). Because of the holidays, I had to put learning & using it on hold. But now I'll be able to start using it. Saved and extra $100 with the lighting deal.

Good machine
I read both the negative and positive reviews and decided to purchase it anyway. Glad I did! Love this thing! I would recommend reading the manual first, as I did, don't wind the bobbin on this machine -I used my other sewing machine to make the bobbin when needed, then bought a box of 144 bobbins (even better yay) and it works like a dream. I use mainly to embroider on quilt squares and this works great. Very happy with the product and glad I went with larger embroidery hoop size. I haven't had any problems with thread breakage or bobbin issues or needle issues, works exactly as described so I don't ask for more than that from a product.

Great first machine!
This is the very first embroidery machine I've ever owned. I was able to follow the directions and embroidery something within 30 minutes and that item looked good! It has a lot of nice features. The only disappointing feature to me is the LCD screen. I knew it was black and white but I thought I'd be able to see at least the outline of the design I was embroidering. It's hard to tell what things are and the names of the items don't line up with the numbers on the screen so I embroidered the wrong thing once already, I'll learn. That being said, it is great so far. I've embroidered over 100,000 stitches already and 10 + designs.

Love~ love~ this Brother PE770 embroidery machine!
I have had my Brother for about 3 months, and embroidered quite a bit during the holidays. I am new to embroidery, but found this machine easy to learn. Tutorials online are very helpful, and the manual is easy to follow. I love the warranty and price Amazon offers, which helped me feel comfortable ordering online. It came well packed and shipped quickly! I wanted an entry level machine to see if I love embroidery, and this machine had the best reviews! I am thrilled with this machine so far, no problems with it at all. I have used the threads purchased here at Amazon and the machine works well with all of them.

It works as expected and is generally easy to use
Exactly what I expected for a beginner level embroidery machine. It works as expected and is generally easy to use. Transferring files from my computer to the machine with a flash drive was easy, but there are several designs to get started with already installed on the machine.

I love this machine
I love this machine! I was on the fence about it and decided to go ahead and get it. Well worth the money. It is perfect for monogramming. I haven’t had any issues in the couple of months I’ve had it now. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an embroidery machine.

Brother sewing and embroidery machines rock!
I purchased this December 2014. I've actually gotten to the point where I'm comfortable using it and I'm starting to create things to sell in my shop. I purchased it at $550 or so. Wait until it drops in price and then get it. You don't need anything else to start besides hoops, stabilizer, thread. I shopped for those separately as it was more cost efficient. I recommend reading the manual as well as visiting the site and some groups on Facebook for info. It's really not too hard to operate.

amazing, I am in love
awesome, I love this machine. :) it is surprsingly easy to use, there are programs online to help read and transfer patterns and plenty of sites with loads of great patterns, in addition to the ones that come pre-programmed. I already have a list of gifts and fun projects to do. I can sew on my regular machine or serger while this is embroidering. The screen is clear and easy to use and threading it is not so different from a regular machine. worth the price, I am thrilled with this machine.
