For the money it's great!
This is a reliable basic sewing machine that is easy to use and produces excellent quality stitching. I have made clothing, decorator Roman shades and pieced together the upholstery for my platform bed with it. Take the time to properly adjust your stitches and it will perform well on sheer to thick fabric.

Great for serge stitching fabric edges
I was looking for other feet for my Brother and found this one listed. It came with my Brother machine and I LOVE it. I use it to serge fabric edges before washing it to stop any unraveling and I serge the edge of fabric after I cut it to create costumes, clothes, quilts, etc. I use this as much or more than my straight stitch foot.

This overlock vertical foot is one of the best purchases I made. Makes seam finishing so easy and secures the seam stitch’s perfectly. It fits my Brother CS6000i sewing machine. I definitely would recommend this overlock vertical foot.

Works great!
This foot works like a charm. It guides the fabric through right at the edge for a nice clean overlock stitch. I was working with some outdoor upholstery fabric that was unraveling faster than I could sew it - I ordered this to use with my inexpensive little Brother machine in hopes that would help. It did the trick. I used the overlock stitch with this and the edges of my material are now nice and neat without threads unraveling everywhere. Exactly what I needed.
