Great for trimming very closely.
The short, curved blade of these embroidery scissors are great for trimming very closely to stitches without cutting into the stitching. I use them for cutwork embroidery where smooth, clean edges and sharp corners are so important to the beauty of the work. I have used Gingher scissors for many years and am confident that I will still be using this pair for a long time as well.

I love these scissors... you can't beat Gingher for scissors. I have been using them for decades and when I need scissors of any kind I buy Gingher! You don't need any other scissors as these last forever. I have sewn a lot in my lifetime and my Gingher scissors are still pristine not to mention still very sharp and I haven't had to sharpen them ever... and this has been about 4 decades! You can't go wrong. I highly recommend them..
