what a great pair of shears!!!!
The shears are shorter than I expected but wonderfully sharp. I had a great time cutting my material. Cut very smoothly. Can not wait till I start on my next project. Thank you Gingher!!!!!

cuts like room temperature butter
This is my second Gingher product and I am hooked. I received Gingher 4-1/2-Inch Thread Snip as a gift and they were amazingly sharp and well balanced in my hands. I stuck with the brand and purchased these shears and find them equally satisfying. These Italian made scissors beat any 'made in china' scissors I've ever used for cutting fabrics. In terms of size, these are a good fit and length for my small hands but a larger pair might be better if you have larger hands. That said, these are smallish but sturdy. I can cut through 4 layers of linen without any trouble. The lifetime warranty is nice to have as long as no fools try and use it to cut paper.

Gingher brands are expensive but it is a case you get what you pay for. These scissors are the perfect size, I have larger ones and smaller ones but these are just the right size for everyday use
