SHARP AND STURDY BUT SHORT IN LENGTH
The dressmaker shears are sharp and sturdy. Be aware though, they're quite short in length.

gingher 7 inch review
These are branded Gingher not Fiskars. Very sharp and what I like. I also ordered the 8-10 pair - which I will use with my wools.

Love these scissors
Love these scissors; have them in 7in, 5in, and 8in. The 7in are probably my favorite, but they are all great shears.

Can't believe I waited till I was 55 for these.
I have been an avid sewer for most of my life. I got an Amazon gift certificate for Christmas when I was 55 and ordered these. I can't believe I waited so long. Cutting with these is like cutting butter. Buy them. You won't regret it.

excellent value
Could not seem to get my old (old!) sewingi scissors adequately sharpened. These are a dream. They are also shorter than what I have used for years. I find this to be a plus. I have used them for about 6 months, and, so far, I think they are an excellent value.

Amazing. Feels like more than a year later
Amazing. Feels like more than a year later, and the sheers are still very sharp, although it's reaching that time it needs to be sharpened. That's the thing though, it can be sharpened!! I will be taking my sheers into Joanne's soon so that I can get them sharpened, but definitely worth the money. I won't buy any other scissors besides Gingher from now on.
