Gingher 8” Knife Edge Bent Dressmaker Shears

I am a full time seamstress and buying the best scissors for cutting fabric is a must for me. The price are the best I've found anywhere. Gingher's are the best for dressmakers

These scissor are perfect for cutting fabric, thread. I bought a pair of these scissors a few years ago and a friend of mine used them and loved them so I found the perfect Christmas gift for her!

I purchased and sent this for/to my niece who was studying in Dakar, Senegal. She had gone into a fabric shop and the owners had shown her how to make an indigenous dress out of fabric they had in their shop. All for free. She noticed that the shears they had were very old and dull. Hence these shears and an accompanying sharpening stone. They were most pleased. You will be as well. I have several different Ginghers and none have disappointed.

Ghinger are the best. Great price. My old pair were 25 years old. They needed sharpening, but it turned out it was just easier and almost as cheap to buy a new set. So I keep the old ones for jobs that might damage the old ones and keep the new ones for fabric only.

Great pair of scissors. Very sharp and not stiff. I have a pair of Fiskars that are almost as sharp, but are a bit stiff causing my hand to tire after hours of trimming seams. I don't have that problem with this pair of Ginghers. Only 4 stars because they aren't that comfortable due to the metal handles.

I've been wanting a set of these for years, but have not until now.... well actually my husband bought me these for Christmas and I love them so much that I'm scared to use them - I dont want to ruin them! LOL!

These shears are very sharp and cut very smoothly. The are great for cutting fabric and very reasonably priced. I am very pleased and would recommend to anyone who need sewing shears.

Very nice shears. Nice weight to them. Very sharp and they cut beautifully! I will never buy any other brand of shears but these. I always bought other brand names and thought they were good enough. These Gingher shears make cutting a breeze and less stress on my hands.
