A great GUY tool.
I'm a guy, and I only sew out of necessity. For the longest time I got by with old, cheap or good enough "scissors" to cut stuff...including fabrics. I didn't know any different (ignorant) or I was too cheap to invest in a good pair of "shears". I considered my past experience with the "best" scissors that I owned until I started a new project involving canvas...and heavyweight material. It dawned on me that I've spent lots of money on quality tools; saw blades, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc... so, time for some quality "shears". Money well spent! These shears have a tool weight heft and a reliable cut through heavy weight material. The only thing that may come close is a new Stanley knife blade and a straightedge. Guys, this is a great TOOL to own.

I never knew scissors could be so good.
I don't have much experience with high end scissors, so take this with a grain of salt, but these are by far the best scissors I've ever used. I bought them for working around the sailboat, mainly for trimming polyester line while splicing. My old scissors weren't up to the task, but these cut through it like butter. I was cutting up some sound deadening material the other day and they had no problem with that either. I have yet to encounter something these won't cut through with ease. Highly recommended.

Perfect for this momma seamstress
I've been hunting for a good pair of scissors that will go from fabric to paper and back (yes I know this makes some cringe but I'm mom to 5 so I need versatility) and these have done beautifully. They sail through any fabric without an issue and will easily tackle any other craft project I have on my table. Totally in love! And I'll be sticking with the Gingher brand from now on.

Incredible quality
Not sure why it took me so long to invest in a good pair of fabric sheers - (guess I just don’t consider myself a serious sewer, so why did I need them?) These are amazing - the cut through fabric is sooooo smooth and easy. Found myself cutting a scrap to ribbons just for fun the first time they’re so smooth. Like them so much it immediately convinced me to buy the 4” embroidery ones, which I love even more.

Amazing quality, heavy, solid, buy them!
Let me just say holy $*%@. These are by far the best darn scissors I’ve ever come across in my life! A magical experience after first use... I literally spent an hour looking for and cutting things to pieces. New amazon doggies bags cut into snow flakes, old shirts into ribbon, on and on. I read some reviews to see what others felt and saw many amazonians felt the same way, phew! I thought I was the only crazy one out there. Seriously purchase these and never regret it! You won’t stop using these beasts for hours!

I love this pair of scissors
even though I am left handed, I love this pair of scissors, and I have to use them left handed. I thought I was purchasing left handed scissors and I almost returned them but decided to keep them since I always used right handed scissors as a child. They are sharp and makes the fabric feel like butter as I am cutting with them. Eventually I will purchase the left handed ones.

Perfect “mom” scissors
These are the scissors my mom never allowed my grimey little kid hands to touch. Well well we’ll mom, who has two thumbs and can afford his own scissors now?? They’re a durable, heavy weight with a nice, sharp blade. Comes with a blade cover so your kids know “don’t touch”. Mom always said they were only for fabric but who cares, turns out they also work on clothing tags which is what I use scissors for 90% of the time. Crap, do I have a shopping problem?

Best of the Best
I love these scissors. I am cutting denim and my previous scissors dulled to the point of being painful to use within the first day of cutting. I finished all my denim quilt pieces after receiving these and they are still very sharp. I'm thinking about ordering another pair so I have a good pair of scissors in both homes. As it stands now, I have to make sure I remember to bring the good pair with me when I go from one place to the other. I won't cut fabric if I don't have them.

Incredibly sharp!
I previously purchased Fiskars Shears and thought they'd be good enough for cutting fabric (they weren't, they pushed the fabric as I cut), so I purchased these with a lot of doubt but I'm incredibly impressed and happy with them. VERY sharp edges from end to end.
