These are great for cutting small pieces, like applique shapes. The serrated edges really do hold the fabric so well for smooth, accurate curves and shapes !!

I loved this pair of scissors so much that I purchased a second pair. They are just the right size to keep next to my sewing machine---- not too big and not too small. Most importantly, they are sharp, very sharp and cut precisely. The larger size opening is convenient as well. Although my hands are not what I consider "large," I can quickly pick up the scissors and use it while sewing. I love this pair of scissors.
