Havel Curved Tip Sewing Scissors 5 1/2in

Very sharp handy for snipping thread and cutting away tags or stabilizer without cutting material.

Great scissors - point is not as 'pointed' as I would like since i wanted these for detail work but they are sharp.

I love the weight, ease and grip of this design. The slightly curved blade prevents unnecessary nips to your fabric. The scissors give a sharp clean cut and are very easy to pick up from my sewing table. I actually have a few of these Havel scissors around that replaced other expensive all metal pairs. I have arthritis in my right hand and Havel scissors in general help me maintain easy precision cutting of threads and fabric.

Such a great little tool, if you enjoy sewing, quilting, anything to do with cutting smaller bits of fabric - or simply snipping threads. These are lightweight, I wear them on a chain around my neck so they don't run off and hide in the chair cushions. They are awesome for trimming the fabric around those Clover brand yo-yo makers, you can get close, evenly, the first time around. I love 'em.

I bought these little scissors for doing machine applique. They are very sharp have very sharp point making them great for getting the little stragglers strands snipped on machine embroidery projects. I am used to using Ginger curved embroidery scissors for my machine applique and love them. With this pair I found these would better suit my needs if they had a bit more of a curve to prevent accidental cuts into the background fabric when trimming around the appliqué. I had to go slower and more cautiously. The very sharp tip poked into my fabric when I was trimming around my applique so be mindful about that. I still like them and will definitely keep them in my arsenal of machine embroidery tools because they did a great job on those pesky embroidery jump stitches. I like them and I would buy again of I lost them.

Bought these specifically for machine embroidery use, I am very pleased. The curve is a little different than I am used to, my other scissors must have a different degree or level of curve, but once accustomed to these I let the others go! They are nice & sharp, easily getting under the embroidery foot to clip threads, easily clipping pesky jump stitches too. I've also used to cut the appliqué fabric after tackdown, they allow me to clip nice & close to the stitch line. Have been using for months & so far I don't notice any change in sharpness or ability to clip threads.

This scissor is very convenient to carry and very sharp. Especially it comes with safety cap. Highly recommend to quilters!
