Great!
I just bought a Brother SE400 machine and, of course, I have to now buy all the accessories for embroidering things. These scissors are awesome! Super sharp and easy to use. So great for clipping those little threads. As I am a Prime member, shipping was free and super fast.

I use these daily!
I have a home embroidery business and use these every day. I will hunt them down before any project starts. They are a must have for clipping jump stitches cleanly and close to the project without fear of actually cutting my fabric. I don't recommend these for trimming appliques you are better off with a sharp duckbill, but for getting a close thread trim I don't use anything but these!

... stars however the pair I received off amazon were dull and did not cut
The scissors when bought directly from Havel get 5 stars however the pair I received off amazon were dull and did not cut. I called Havel and they said that Amazon is not an authorized seller and they do not recommend using them. I returned them to amazon and bought directly from Havel. The pair I received 2 years ago is still going strong and the new pair I just received is perfect as well! These are great scissors.

Must Have
I just taught myself to applique an the scissors I had for snipping embroidery threads were not getting close enough to trim off the fabric. These little scissors work great. They actually aren't that little but they are easy to handle and the stiffness worked out after a few uses. I am really happy with these for the price! They were over $30.00 at my local sewing shop.

stars Don't know how I embroidered without them!
I put off buying these, but now I wonder how I ever got along without them! Work well. I bought them for my embroidery machine, but also use with the sewing machine that I have without auto-cut. I need to add that I am left-handed, but can use these easily. I just saw that there is a left handed "double curved" scissors as I was coming to write this review, but lefties, you don't have to worry about this one. I am still looking for a left-handed applique scissors, in case anyone has seen one.

What have I been waiting for?
You ever want a tool for so long but just couldn't bring yourself to spend the money? That's how I felt with these scissors. I am new with my embroidery machine and kept thinking "maybe I don't really need it." I was wrong! My husband got these for me after seeing them on my wish-list and it was like love at first "snip!" Haha. These scissors make it so much easier to make cuts while sewing without having to make the material completely out of the machine. If I had to give a con, I would say that they do TOO good of a job, meaning sometimes they cut too close.

Best Embroidery Machine Scissors Ever!!
Anyone who has ever embroirdered on an embroidery machine will tell you how some of your more intricate patterns need snipping every once in a while as you go along and the LAST thing you want to do is remove the hoop from the machine for a few snips. Well, Amazon has the perfect answer to that conundrum: Havel's Ulti-Mates Angled Machine Embroidery Scissors! It's just the perfect thing. The ultra sharp blades of the scissors are curved downwords so that you can get as close as you dare to the design to get that blasted little thread piece. The design of the scissors are such that you can slide the handles down between the hoop and the needle. Are they akward looking? Yes, are they akward to use? No way. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Over time they became harder to use but my wife loved it
We purchased a pair of these a few years back at the International Quilt Festival. Over time they became harder to use but my wife loved it and we purchased this pair from Amazon. They work great for her (she is using them to cut away stabilizer from embroidery patterns she sews out. The original pair had been used for years in her long arm quilting business. it allowed her to rest the scissors on the quilt tops and cut away stray threads (long arm quilters will know what I mean :-).
