These scissors are perfect for trimming thread on your embroidery machine while still in the hoop. They are a little larger than some I have seen for this purpose, but it comes to a very fine an accurate tip, and its larger size is more comfortable for my large hands. Good product-- well made (made in Pakistan, assembled in USA). As described. Not razor sharp, but reasonably good edge. Good for precise cuts on a single layer of woven fabric.

These work well with my machine embroidery/applique projects. Also like the fact they're much easier to find in my craft room than my usual cuticle scissors I used in the past for trimming small areas.

Great scissors! I use them when trimming my machine embroidery work. It works perfect for appliques and monograms, they are the only scissors that work as well for getting in there to trim threads and fabric while the project is still in the hoop.
