These are great scissors for machine embroidery - the only reason for the 4 stars are the pointed ends are a little bit big for tiny stitches.

havel scissors a little heavy and long
the havel angled scissors are long for quick use on and around the sewing table, but they do have the angle and rounded upward tip such that prevention of cutting into the fabric instead of cutting off threads on top of the fabric is guaranteed. the particular scissors i received are a bit tight,too, tight in terms of the way the blades move along side one another.

I had been looking for these everywhere. I could not even find them at Jo-Anns. They did have something similar. but nothing like these.These are exactly what I wanted. Everyone who sees them loves them, too.
