Horn of America Cabinet Insert Large 12 1/2" x 24"
An insert is a piece of Acrylic plastic or Plexiglas that is cut to fit your specific brand and model of sewing machine. The Insert is used when the sewing machine is in the Flat-Bed Mode, this is when the needle plate of the sewing machine is level with the top of the cabinet. The Insert fills the gap between the sewing machine and the opening of the cabinet to create a flat working surface.
This insert is designed to fit all Horn Cabinets with a cutout hole that measures 12 1/2" x 24". When ordering simply include the brand an model of sewing machine and your cabinet model and or opening size in the text boxes supplied.

The insert fits OK but the two ends stick up at the back and I had to tape them down. Otherwise, works great.

Fits like a dream! An absolute need for anyone that put s their machine in a cabinet. Cut to fit perfectly around your exact machine model/cabinet model. Worth the cost.

The insert fits perfectly and as noted by the manufacturer, there is no guarantee of machine placement. However, as a suggestion, it would be nice to have the machine aligned farther to the right to fill the gap on the hand wheel end and to allow for a wider, more stable bit of plexiglass on the left side. It would also make it easier to use the machine’s free arm without having to slide the machine over once the insert is removed.
