Horn of America Cabinet Insert Large 12 1/2" x 24"
An insert is a piece of Acrylic plastic or Plexiglas that is cut to fit your specific brand and model of sewing machine. The Insert is used when the sewing machine is in the Flat-Bed Mode, this is when the needle plate of the sewing machine is level with the top of the cabinet. The Insert fills the gap between the sewing machine and the opening of the cabinet to create a flat working surface.
This insert is designed to fit all Horn Cabinets with a cutout hole that measures 12 1/2" x 24". When ordering simply include the brand an model of sewing machine and your cabinet model and or opening size in the text boxes supplied.

Perfect fit
I was so pleased to be able to get a perfect fit for my Janome mc12000. My horn cabinet is old and discontinued. It arrived in a little over a week and is perfect. Good price as well.

Received the 12.5 x 24 insert for my Horn cabinet.
Received the 12.5 x 24 insert for my Horn cabinet. It was supposed to fit the Janome HD3000 - it did not. I had to shave off about 1/8 inch from the front side to match the angle on the HD3000 as well as carve out the corner on the back side to fit the back side of the Janome. Luckily I had tools to do it with! Was able to make it fit but was a nuisance to adjust.

Quality, fast delivery and great price
I received my insert in a couple of weeks from ordering and it fit perfectly! I received it quickly after waiting 6 months for the local quilt shop to be told they lost the order. The price was a third of what the local quilt shop quoted me.
