    Love my new Janome!

This is a very nice machine. I love that it is not computerized and that it has enough stitches to suit my sewing needs. The price and free shipping were an extra bonus.

Seems fine for such a low cost machine.

Posted by Andy Ruina on 14th Mar 2018

So far, so good. So far, it sews well. It sews well, but not so far, so far, so I don't know how good it will be in the long run. It has that noisy bjjjjj kind of sound common in low-end machines. But it seems to work just fine. I don't like it as well as my 50 year old heavy machines, which are quieter or smoother, or my brand new $1000 MC6300P which has much better speed control. But it sews fine, so far. And I don't know how durable it will be. After I tried it out and made a small bag, I gave it as a gift to a beginning sewer. And he is not complaining about it.

    Glad I ordered it

After having read many informative sewing machine reviews, I chose the Jancome. It was just what I wanted, simple and sturdy. It operates very smoothly and easily. I've been sewing for years and have come to the conclusion that one rarely uses all those decorative stitches and extra attachments. The simpler the machine, the less can go wrong.

Great for a beginning quilter like me! Easy to use for someone who doesn't know a lot about sewing in general and it hasn't locked up on me or anything. =)
