Great beginner sewing machine
I love the simplicity of this sewing machine as well as the fact that it's a little workhorse. I dealt with many issues with an inexepensive Brother sewing machine and have been absolutely thrilled with my upgrade to this Janome. I'd highly recommend it for a beginner.

I can't believe how easy it was to start sewing...my 9 year old picked it up fast and is sewing away. Only thing I wish it had is an automatic needle threader, but we just use one from a kit we got in a hotel and it works just fine:)

Top notch simple machine
A great little uncomplicated machine which has been trouble free from day 1. It does not have drop in bobbin which is easy enough to use. I would recommend this machine to anyone for durability and quality construction. This replaces a 'S' brand that was so much trouble it was junked.

We love it. Runs like butter...so smoothly. You can't go wrong with this entry level machine. A cut above the Brother machines. I have a Brother runway model and wish I had purchased this one in the first place. Yes, it's a little more money, but it shows in the quality of the work and the way it runs.
