Great Product
I just bought it. I really like it. It is relatively quiet. It works smoothly for hours without problem. Like someone said it, if you care about the warranty, I would suggest you buy it from authorized dealer. However sells it on Amazon would tell you if he is an authorized dealer. You just search on the seller, or go to Janome.com and type the seller's name there. I recently found out a Janome authorized repair shop which I didn't know was in my town that Janome 2212 is now replaced by Janome 2222 which cost about $ 300. So they didn't even have Janome 2212. I am glad my husband got it for me on Amazon. It works great. I don't any complaint.

I'm very happy with it
First new machine I've had in >40 years. It was purchased mainly for hemming and repairs. So far, I'm very happy with it. Easy to operate.

Good solid machine for a beginner
Love the machine. I am a begging sewer who has not sewed it years. It was easy to set up once I understood how to put the front loading bobbin in! It makes a "q" instead of a "p" with the thread. Tension is always good at 4. Glad I bought this one.

Loving my new machine
This machine replaced my Singer that I had purchased only 6 years ago. My mother bought a Janome a year ago and loves it. Since my Singer had to be repaired once at a ridiculous cost and was still in need of the same bobbin repair, I decided to give the Janome a try. Although I don't sew as much as I used to, this machine is perfect for me. It quieter than my old machine and is very user friendly. I would highly recommend it.

User friendly
So far I like it, but I am still very much a beginner. I haven't used it all that much but whatever little use I have put it through, seems very straight forward and user friendly.
