The 3128 comes with 8 built-in utility and stretch stitches that can be easily selected using the stitch selection dial on the front, and sews up to 650 spm. It includes a 4-step buttonhole stitch and offers a maximum stitch length of 4mm and width of 5mm. Other features include an easy-reverse stitch button, a 3-piece feed dog, extra high presser foot lift to give more working space, a vertical oscillating hook bobbin and simple push-pull bobbin winder, and easy lay-in threading.
The Janome 3128 includes various accessories including snap-on standard, ¼-inch and zigzag presser feet, a sliding buttonhole foot, bobbins and bobbin cases, needles, a foot control pedal, and a vinyl dust cover. Great price for a great machine!
I bought 3 of them for Project Linus volunteers to use at our meetings. I plan to buy a couple more...great to carry to classes also. Great price for a great machine! The only dislike I have about the machine is the thread spool. It's a bit wobbly.

Nice basic machine
I purchased this machine to take to sewing classes and for my 8 yr old grand daughter. It worked right out of the box. It sews very smoothly. Lightweight and basic.

Love the machine!
After lugging around the same old Singer for 39 years I needed something smaller that was lightweight. Lately I have only used my machine for home decorating and kids costumes. This is the perfect size for basic sewing and repairs. Love it.
