Janome Convertible Even Feed Foot High Shank

bought it to try on my Juki 2010, the included Juki walking foot works well but is quite loud even after getting the shortened screw from Juki. The Juki foot also isn't open toe like this one. Works well, the only issue is that you can ONLY use the open foot attachment and the needle lands slightly right of the middle of the toe. That doesn't matter to me but it might bother someone else. Very happy with my new walking foot! update: it's Feb 2018 and this foot is still working wonderfully! Been thru several projects and no problems, very nice stitching, moves the sandwich along with no shifting. I cleaned the lint out of it and put a few drops of oil in it last week and left it on a paper towel to drain overnight and it is just cruising right along. Great buy.

I'm using this foot on my Juki TL2010Q. It's so-o-o-o much quieter than the Juki OEM walking foot, plus this one has a line guide and a quilt-in-the ditch attachment! There are detailed instructions on the inside of the card. The guide attachments snap into place. Just squeeze on the sides of the main component to release or attach a toe. Note: Only the open toe fits on the Juki. Also, the tip on the quilt-in-the-ditch attachment hits the needle on my machine. I will only be using the open toe and line guide with the foot.

A walking foot is a MUST when you are doing layers of fabric; especially, flannel. With a regular sewing foot, the fabric bunches and stretches. With this foot, I was amazed at how the fabric just glided through the feed dogs with no effort at all. I am so glad I invested in this walking foot! I am new to quilting and was having a terrible time "stitching in the ditch". The guides provided with the walking foot made this task so much easier. I am definitely pleased. In addition, my order arrived days earlier than estimated!!!
