love it, love it love it! the open toe is so smooth and glides over the fabric - love how it doesn't bounce, you can hold it up against a ruler and quilt perfect straight lines and the clear circle plate with slight modification does great free motion couching of thread (see Amy's Free motion quilting adventures).

Does not hop like other free motion feet. Do not hesitate to purchase!!!!!

Love this foot. My Janome machine came with a darning/ quilting foot that's not worth a flip - plastic. This metal open toe foot is wonderful it does what it's supposed to do! It more less hugs the fabric and makes it so much easier. The other two feet work also

Janome is outstanding in products and service. This item is usually used for ruler work on your domestic machine. Be aware of warranty issues if your machine has the auto rise presser foot . This item may cause damage to your machine that Janome does not cover. Make sure to check first.

I am so excited to use this Janome product. I have also ordered the Janome Convertible Free Motion Frame Quilting Feet Set that goes with it. I love Janome!!! Amazon.com has the best price I could find on the internet. Love Amazon.com PS: I just tried them out, no tugging and pulling as I had to do over the years with my oval darning foot when free motion quilting. The quilt just glides under feet. Maybe this will help my neck and shoulders. Love it!!

The darning foot that came with the 6600 was awful to free motion quilt with. I bought this foot and am much happier with the results. The directions say to just skim the surface with the top of the foot, but I had skipped stitches and horrible tension all around. When I moved the foot closer to the fabric and increased the tension on the machine it worked much better. I'm very happy with this so far!
