The NEW Bernina #50W 9mm Walking Foot is coming SOON! The Bernina walking foot is designed to feed the top material at the same speed as the bottom material which gets rid of the material puckering or gathering on the bottom. The Bernina 9mm walking foot is compatible with all Bernina machines that have a 9mm wide stitch width. 

The new Bernina 50W walking foot comes with 3 different soles ( interchangeable presser feet ). The standard sole is made for everyday sewing and quilting. It is a closed toe foot that holds the material flat and fees it through the machine with ease.The second sole is the open toe foot. It allows you to see precisely where you are sewing when doing applique or specialty sewing. Because it is open it makes following the edge of an applique easy. The third sole is the edge stitching foot. It has a center guide that can be placed in the seam for stitch-in-the-ditch quilting or for sewing right on the edge of the material. 

The 9mm walking foot also comes with 2 seam guides. These are very helpful when you are doing parallel lines of stitching. It has a seam guide that goes out to the left and one that goes out to the right.
