Grab a Chair!
Sew Glad You Made It – Grab A Chair!
Kitty cats, puppy dogs, buttons, and thread! What do all these have in common? You can find them on the Arrow Hydraulic Sewing Chairs!
Today, I would like to give a nod to the Arrow hydraulic sewing chairs. These chairs are not just cute, they are also highly practical. The hydraulic lift allows you to easily adjust your chair from 18” to 22” high. They have superior lumbar support to help you sew comfortably and for longer periods of time. Heavy duty casters that roll smoothly and safely on most floors. The 360° swivel base ensures your chair remains sturdy and stable while you spin, lean, or shift positions. (Or when you feel like spinning round and round til you’re dizzy! You know, like back in the good ol’ days!) These chairs also come in eleven different fabric choices so you can pick the one that best suits your style and décor. Another notable feature is the “hidden” storage area located underneath the seat cushion. This is the perfect place to store patterns, notions, thread, scissors, and other essential items- like snacks! I love these chairs so much that I bought one to use at home. It’s sew cute! Mine has the Cat’s Meow fabric. (My chair is an older model from several years ago when Arrow Sewing also made them with wooden legs.)

I do have a funny story about that “hidden” storage underneath the seat. While it helps keep your odds and ends safely tucked away from most prying hands, it may not keep them safe from prying paws! At one time I thought to store some small boxes of thread spools in that little storage area of the chair. Somehow my string loving cat, Beau, found it. He stood up and lifted the seat high enough to allow himself to tear open one of the cardboard boxes and pulled out several spools of thread. I don’t know how he knew to look there or how he managed to push the seat up to get to them, but I guess his love of string was all the motivation he needed to figure it out. I didn’t get a picture, but it looked something like this… Needless to say he had a great time that day!
