The Brother SA125 1/4" Foot is used for quilt and patchwork piecing with 1/4" or 1/8" seam allowances. Using the center needle, straight stitch position, the right front edge of this foot provides a guide for creating even ¼-inch seams for quilts, doll clothes and heirloom sewing projects. When using the left side of the Brother SA125 1/4" Foot as a guide, an 1/8-inch seam is created.

    it was the only "foot" not included when I purchased my new Brother sewing machine, I have used it several times now and think I probably could have done without it, but it is nice to have when I'm feeling like I need the extra help and the price was right!!

    If you quilt and this foot wasn't included with your machine, BUY THIS. It's AWESOME for keeping the 1/4" seam without killing your eyes or turning you into a hunchback trying to keep the line! I tend to just leave it on all the time even when not doing blocks.

    Nice quality, easy to use, and convenient to have if you do a lot of quilting. You just line it up with the edge of the fabric and your quarter inch seem is a snap.
