Clear Quilting Foot, the Brother SA165 Quilting / Free Motion Foot is also called a darning foot and may be used as a free motion foot. The Brother SA165 Quilting and Free Motion Foot raises and lowers with the needle to allow fabric to be moved between stitches and to hold fabric in place while stitches are created. Requires a low shank adaptor. (Screw on Foot) Spring action foot.

    So glad I finally bought this for myself. It has resolved most of the problems I was having with free motion embroidery. My only issue is that it is hard to do fine detail work because I can't always see up close with the shape of the foot. But overall very happy with this purchase. Also, great price and fast shipping!
