The Brother SA125 1/4" Foot is used for quilt and patchwork piecing with 1/4" or 1/8" seam allowances. Using the center needle, straight stitch position, the right front edge of this foot provides a guide for creating even ¼-inch seams for quilts, doll clothes and heirloom sewing projects. When using the left side of the Brother SA125 1/4" Foot as a guide, an 1/8-inch seam is created.

    Item was exactly as described. Genuine Brother product. Works perfect with both of my Brother Machines, I own a Brother SE400 and an SB700T. It gives me a perfect 1/4 stitch everytime. I would not hesitate to purchase again!

    I like this 14 incher better than the one that has ...

    I like this 14 incher better than the one that has the vertical metal guide along the side, because you don't have to worry about the fabric folding up on you and giving you an inaccurate 14/ inch.

    As a new quilter had tried to use my machine without this product. The 1/4 in seam allowance is not marked on my machine. Bought this product and am now using this on my third quilt. The blocks were all the same size when I finished so did not have to do any trimming. if you want exact seams and piecing this is the best product.
