The Brother SA125 1/4" Foot is used for quilt and patchwork piecing with 1/4" or 1/8" seam allowances. Using the center needle, straight stitch position, the right front edge of this foot provides a guide for creating even ¼-inch seams for quilts, doll clothes and heirloom sewing projects. When using the left side of the Brother SA125 1/4" Foot as a guide, an 1/8-inch seam is created.

    This is an excellent product. One which every quilter should have. l Now that I have started using it never want to be without it. I took a chance on purchasing it. I have a Brother CE4000 Sewing Machine and the CE4000 was not listed as a machine it is to be used with. But it works perfectly. I am glad I took that chance. Besides for .01, plush $3.99 S&H what did I have to loose? I have finished piecing my first quilt, and it turned out perfect.

    I lost my first one, so this replaced it. It works even better than the one I had bought from a Brother dealer-the guide for me is much easier to follow and love the single needle hole for sewing-wonderful product and about half the price of the one offered locally at the Brother dealer! Very Happy!

    The above heading was chosen because I saw more than one review here stating the product was not a genuine Brother product. I don't know why the others had their experience, but I can tell you this was definitely from Brother. This product does EXACTLY what I want, which is a simple and easily used guide for assuring a quarter inch seam. It does this beautifully and is making my quilting work so much simpler. Please note I've returned to sewing after a decades-long hiatus and have little previous experience with assembling quilts, so I have very simple needs for the foot at this point :-)

    Love this foot. It fits my Brother perfectly. I can easily sew straight 1/4 inch seams. Highly recommend it to anyone who quilts or wants a straight and even seam. It also has guide lines to easily see where to start and stop sewing.

    This has made my quilting seams so much more uniform. I wish I'd had it a long time ago. I highly recommend. You will need to make sure your needle is moved to the center position so it will line up to the small hole before you try it out.

    Just what I needed to get that classic 1/4 inch seam. My sewing patterns were thrown off by the foot I used to have for my Brother (I have no idea what the seam allowance was for that one) so this was a must-have for me!
