The Brother SA125 1/4" Foot is used for quilt and patchwork piecing with 1/4" or 1/8" seam allowances. Using the center needle, straight stitch position, the right front edge of this foot provides a guide for creating even ¼-inch seams for quilts, doll clothes and heirloom sewing projects. When using the left side of the Brother SA125 1/4" Foot as a guide, an 1/8-inch seam is created.

    awesome foot

Posted by Nikki on 20th Jun 2018

Let me first say that i have a thing for pressor feet. I love this foot because it takes the guesswork out of doing 1/4 inch seams, and as an added bonus if you line up the fabric on the other side, you get a 1/8" seam. With an all purpose foot this is hard to do because the fabric wants to lift up over the inside of the foot. The wider part od this foot keeps the fabric in place. I would highly recommend this foot to anyone who deals with narrow seams. Besides my overlocking foot (which came with my brother cs6000i), i would have to say this is my favorite.

    Happy Quilting

These are a "must have" for quilting. They both work equally well. The SA125 is great when sewing thin fabrics and the SA129 is terrific for thicker fabrics or 2 layers of fabric with batting. They were priced well and arrived sooner than expected.

    Very Accurate!

I was a little disappointed that my Brother machine didn't come with a 1/4" foot, but this one has worked perfectly! It is reasonably priced and helps sew a very accurate 1/4" seam. I am taking a quilting class right now and our instructor showed us how to use some notions to help to set up our machine for an accurate 1/4" seam. She explained that often a 1/4" piecing foot is not exactly 1/4". To my surprise, when I set up the 1/4" seam using the notions she suggested, I realized that this 1/4" foot is spot on and I didn't even need the notions...I could just go by the size of the piecing foot! Well worth the investment!

    Perfect for Brother cs6000i

    Posted by M. L. on 19th Jun 2018

I have a Brother CS6000i. This foot fits perfectly. You do have to adjust your need setting to the center. Look up how to do that on YouTube. It's easy!! I have been sewing less than a month. My first project is a simple quilt. I was having a problem with keeping my seam straight and consistent, so I ordered this. What a huge difference it makes!! I love this foot!!

Posted by Jenn on 19th Jun 2018

I am sitting here in front of my Brother XR9500PRW sewing machine smiling ear to ear! I just started a new quilt (my second ever) and, after cutting all of the pieces meticulously, I sewed the first three pieces together with the default presser foot. I thought, “I can do a 1/4 inch seam; no problem.” Wrong! After three pieces, my first block was already off by about 1/4 inch. *sigh* So, Friday night, I placed my order for this foot. It arrived this morning (Sunday), and after 20 minutes of reading the instructions and installing the foot (most of the time was actually spent figuring out how to set my default needle position to center), I pieced a different set of those three original pieces together. Perfect 1/4 inch seams!! In fact, despite some of the reviews I read before purchasing, I found that this foot makes a scant 1/4 inch seam, so the end result really is a perfect 1/4 inch seam!! I’ve attached a picture of my first attempt compared to my second using this foot. (The white sashing is supposed to be 1/2 inch.) I could not be more pleased!

Works great and best price anywhere

I just brought this brother sewing machine and was surprised how expensive the attachments were so I didn't find any in the store. I was pleased to find great prices online at sew vac direct. It works terrific.

    Well-made product

I am pleased with the sturdiness of this foot, which makes sewing a lot easier. No wobbling. No moving off center. Sews straight and even feed.

Absolutely love it!! Making doll clothes for grandchildren that require 1/4" seams. It makes it so easy. Shipping from company very fast. I have used this company several times. Have always been satisfied with service.

    4-H Project Leader

I had previously seen this product which had been purchased by a 4-H member. Our county 4-H project had purchased Brother machines two years ago for beginning sewing and quilting projects. This foot will be such a valuable tool for these young sewers.
