    18 months and going strong

I got this machine during the covid locakdown when I could not get my 40 year old Elna serviced. It turned out to be a good machine for quilt piecing as well as straight line quilting. The straight stitch is great and it handles my quilt sandwiches just fine with an even feed food. It is a sturdy machine and it has enough fancy stuff that I can embroider quilt labels, storing the often used repeatable lines. The manual doesn't tell you to oil it, but the oil wick is a fuzzy thing in the middle of the bobbin area. That is NOT lint! a drop of oil when changing the bobbin is a good idea. Brush out the lint at bobbin changes and it will be fine. Plus I love the color!
