Elna Schmetz Serger Needles have a sharp point for all fabrics. Use the recommended needle size and type (either household or industrial) for your model. Elna ELX705 has two size 80/12 and three size 90/14 overlock serger machine needles. These needles are designed for use in electronic multi-purpose sergers that do the overlock, cover, safety, and mock safety stitches. Not suitable for normal home sewing machines or embroidery machines. Your machine manual should specify to use the ELX705.
