Horn of America Cabinet Insert Small 11 3/16" x 18 13/16"
An insert is a piece of Acrylic plastic or Plexiglas that is cut to fit your specific brand and model of sewing machine. The Insert is used when the sewing machine is in the Flat-Bed Mode, this is when the needle plate of the sewing machine is level with the top of the cabinet. The Insert fills the gap between the sewing machine and the opening of the cabinet to create a flat working surface.
This insert is designed to fit all Horn Cabinets with a cutout hole that measures 11 3/16" x 18 13/16". When ordering simply include the brand an model of sewing machine and your cabinet model and or opening size in the text boxes supplied.

The day after I placed my order Allen called and told me that Horn did not make a small cabinet insert for my new Viking 875 Quilt, but that you could have it custom made. I was assured that it would fit and that it would probably take 4 to 6 weeks for me to receive it. There was an additional cost. I agreed. What a nice surprise to receive it just 10 days later. Wonderful insert!
This cabinet insert fit perfectly into my cabinet and around my Janome sewing machine. With this insert, it is so much easier to sew large items. I can't imagine sewing without it!
