Love this serger!!!
Absolutely love this serger!! It makes sewing projects so much faster for my 10 year old daughter. She made pajama pants for the family at Christmas and it was a breeze for her! Great videos on YouTube that show how to thread if you're not a person who can figure it out from a diagram like myself.

It cuts various fabric nicely, thread tension is good
I used various sergers before but this is my first serger I owned. It cuts various fabric nicely, thread tension is good. I wish this model comes with a waste collector or a guide to a trash can.

This is a great serger for the price
This is a great serger for the price! I recently purchased it and have already completed a number of items with it. I sew a lot of fleece and heavier fabrics and so far it sews like a dream. I would highly recommend.

A solid, but basic machine
I'm a young professional working in the costume industry and I got this serger for my home studio. It's everything I hoped for! It's a solid machine that absolutely doesn't move no matter how fast you use it which can be a problem for lower end sergers. I've never had a problem with it randomly coming unthreaded. (Another problem I've encountered) It handles even the thickest fabrics with ease. As some one who is used to working with industrial sergers it can be quite slow by comparison, but that comes with the price tag. The tweezers it comes with are a little too small for my liking but they get the job done. I haven't done anything besides basic sergering so I can't say how versatile it is, but for the price it's quality can't be beat. (I got it on sale for $250, I wouldn't pay the full price for it.) I would recommend this to any home sewer who wants to give their garments a professional finish or any small business who needs a reliable, hardworking machine.

This is a nice serger for the price
This is a nice serger for the price. I wish I could have gotten on with a closing stitch. Why can't I find a serger, sewing machine, and closing stitch all in one. That would be cool. The next model up is better because it threads easier, I would have liked that one better. Judi servers are the best, I love the honeycomb threading and it always makes a nice serger with easy to switch over to hem.

Easy to use, easy to move, works quickly and without issue.
I have run close to 7000yds of thread through this machine in the last 10 months. I added oil right when I got it and haven't had to do anything since. No complaints at all. It sews quickly, rarely misses a stitch (when it does it is usually a thread issue) and is pretty easy to use. I move this machine around my work area quite a bit and it is no problem to move around. I love that it takes up so little space. The only drawback is that it does not have a basket to catch the waste fabric. I just use a basket from an old machine that died. I recommend this machine.

Love my new Juki MO644D
I do love it. It is easy to thread and purrs along happily. I admit I haven't put her through all she can do but I'm happy with the choice. I have had my 3-thread Juki for about 8 years and felt confident in upgrading to a new Juki. It took a little getting used to with the threading and spool placement but after I got the hang of it I've been serging away.

Great serger, quick to get the hang of.
Great machine. I sew a lot of knits and this is wonderful. Threading is not scary at all, way easier than a Juki Industrial serger by any means. Love that it is light weight and portable but still holds up to the task of knits for swim costumes/dance, etc. No matter what your experience level with serging is, it is totally worth thumbing through the manual, it's pretty straight forward and shows you how to work the differential feed and how to change the amount you want to cut off, how to attach elastic, etc.
