The Riccar R30D Tandem Air Deluxe is Riccar's most powerful residential upright vacuum — a dual-motor, HEPA-filtration powerhouse that has earned the Carpet & Rug Institute's coveted Gold Seal of Approval. Built in Riccar's St. James, Missouri factory with metal components in every high-wear area, the Riccar R30D is engineered for homeowners who demand the deepest clean, the cleanest air, and a vacuum that lasts for decades — not years.
The Tandem Air System consists of 2 motors for the deepest cleaning and the freshest air.
Motor number 1 is in the head of the vacuum and runs the brushroll and the direct air fan giving you powerful cleaning on carpets. The motor drives the metal brush roll giving you deep agitation and extraction of embedded dirt, pet hair, and debris from carpet fibers. The Riccar R30D also has carpet height adjustments making it perfect for cleaning no matter the type of flooring you have.
Motor 2 is designed to give extra airflow through the vacuum to help pull the dirt into the bag of the vacuum. This motor also gives you a dedicated motor when you are using the attachments on the Riccar R30D vacuum. It keeps the vacuum from losing power when using the attachments to clean stairs, baseboards, crown molding, upholstery, window seals and more. Most vacuums use on single motor to run all of these items and it does reduce the airflow which is what pulls the dirt into the vacuum.

The Riccar Tandem Air Deluxe model R30D features the revolutionary Tandem Air System with dual motors that work together to deep clean thick carpet yet gently clean bare floors and area rugs.
Multi-stage filtration includes a HEPA media filter and now a granulated charcoal filter, upgraded to trap allergens and odors even better. A self-sealing, charcoal-infused HEPA media bag traps 99.97% of debris that is 0.3 microns or larger, and makes bag changing simple and clean.
The Deluxe Tandem Air vacuum is built to last for years of effective cleaning on carpets rugs bare floors and everything above the floor. Brush strips are replaceable and customizable to your floor type.*
A telescopic aluminum wand with curved handle stretch hose and on-board tools extend your cleaning reach up to 15 feet which is perfect for cleaning crevices stairs and everything above the floor. Control suction from the handle or by rotating the Tools On/Off dial.

A Hall sensor stops the brushroll when it jams, protecting the belt from snapping. You also get lifetime belt protection. So it shouldn't break, but if it does, you're covered.
A helpful indicator light will tell you when the bag is full and ready to be changed.
